During Chinese New Year the Taiwanese town of Pingshi releases over 5,000 paper lanterns to carry their prayers to the heavens. The youtube video of this is one of the most beautiful, amazing thing's I've ever seen. I hope that one day, I'm fortunate enough to travel to Taiwan and see this all for myself.
