Carbon Footprints:

For GeoScience: Global Warming we all had to calculate our Carbon Footprints.

Carbon Footprints are measured in tonnes of Carbon Dioxide (a greenhouse gas), they're the average amount of CO2 that you release into the atmosphere in a calendar year.
Here's mine

Category	CO2 in tonnes
Housing	0.10
Flights	0.73
Car	0.17
Secondary (ie- food)	1.91

This comes out to a mere 2.92 tonnes of CO2, well below the national average of 20.4 tonnes. Mine is so low for a couple of reasons...
1) I live in a dorm, super environmentally friendly
2) I don't have a car during the school year, which cuts back on my driving emissions
3) I'm a vegetarian, which is way more environmentally friendly
