update: Rudy is doing a lot better after we've started cleaning his tank more. It turns out that both Emily and I were feeding him, which made the water too duty. We just couldn't clean it fast enough. So now we're being more careful with his food regimen. His fin has started to grow back, so hopefully in a few weeks, he'll be all better.
