Today has been a very very very long day. Tony and I drove to a clients house at 7:30 this morning to pick her up on the way to DHS. DHS is the Department of Human Services in Washtenaw County (located in Ypsi). Another client met us there. We filled out some paperwork and tried to apply for food stamps for the clients. One sucess and one minor setback. (Due to lawyer-client confidentiality I can't really share more). The whole process took hours and hours and left me extremely frustrated with government red tape.
I slept the rest of the day, after only 4 hours of sleep, I was exhausted.
Sarah and I tried to go on a Freecycle adventure, which was only 3/4 a success. We were supposed to pick up coffee tins so I could use them as pots for plants. But alas- we got there 15 minutes too late and they were gone. :-( But no worries- I'll just have to walk back over there on Monday afternoon.
After my 2nd nap, I applied for a few different summer jobs around campus. I really need a job so I can afford my rent (275 a month!!!)

Not getting the cans wasn't the worst disappointment of the day. It was finding out we can't grow bananas in them. I think we really need a banana plant for the room.

275 a month would be a steal in new orleans...
